Delete your account

The fastest way to delete your account is from your parent account settings:

• check_circleSign in to Tube Guard.
• check_circleGo to your account settings (Account).
• check_circleSelect "Delete account".
• check_circleType DELETE to confirm, then choose "Delete forever".

Your account and all associated data are then permanently removed.

If you can't sign in, or you'd prefer we handle it for you, email us at support@appeffects.co.uk from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. To protect your account, we may take steps to verify your identity before processing the request. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from our active systems, including:

• check_circleYour parent account details (name, email, hashed password and PIN).
• check_circleAll child profiles you created (names, ages, avatars and interests).
• check_circleYour approved channels and viewing settings, including daily limits and bedtime schedules.
• check_circleWatch history and usage activity for every child profile.
• check_circleRecords of any access codes you redeemed.

We delete your personal data from active systems when you delete your account. We may retain a limited amount of information where we are required to for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes — for example, a record of a transaction. Any such information is kept only as long as necessary and is then removed.

Your subscription is managed by the app store or payment provider you used to subscribe. Deleting your Tube Guard account does not by itself cancel an active subscription, so please also cancel it through that store or provider to stop future charges.
